The first human colonists of the water world Pamu built themselves a grand floating city and in doing so, made enemies of that race beneath the waves. Over the years, the floating city has been destroyed bit by bit, reducing it to a tiny village. But now the village is destroyed as well and one human girl has been chosen to undertake a dangerous journey to save not just the descendants of the colonists but all the races of Pamu.
