In World War II the Japanese advance in the Pacific was swift and ruthless. On the tiny island of Sulan a small group of people were unwilling to stay and face captivity. Armed only with their courage and desperation they set out in a small fishing boat to make the epic journey to Australia and safety. Before them lies the unpredictable sea and all around them an implacable enemy. Who will survive and who will die?
