Luke Morgan is in prison serving time for a trumped-up firearms charge when he learns his family is facing danger from an impending political upheaval that will dissolve the government of the United States. After he breaks out to help his family flee the perils, he is called on to join the Patriots' desperate fight against the Elitists and their Chinese mercenaries. Despite relentless pursuit and attacks by enemy forces, Luke and his brother Sonny lead the family and a group of refugees to Idaho in a frantic search for sanctuary, only to find the future holds dangers far more hazardous than the ones they have left behind.
