Beauty & the Wolf — L.A. Maldonado

Claire River's move to Fort Myer is planned by her mother who died shortly before Claire shifted. The new town seems boring but when Claire meets the handsome Adam Welsh, she is drawn into the politics of a werewolf pack to which Adam belongs and her life turns topsy-turvy. Adam and his pack have kept their identity secret, but when Billy Ray, a member of their pack, starts a fight with the alpha, innocent people get involved. Claire's friend is kidnapped and turned and the sleepy town turns into a deathly zone due to the war between the werewolves. Adam and Claire find themselves hovering between life and death as fighting escalates. Would they be able to defeat Billy and thwart his plan, or would Claire also become his new victim?
