Barbed Wire — Anthony Graham

The strange intricacies of campus life are examined and dismembered in this novel. Politicians, academics, students, and administrators are put under the author's microscope. A new university is established in rural Australia. Its purpose is to celebrate diversity, instead there are swirling eddies of unrest as female cricketers, anarchists, and sexual liberation warriors uneasily congregate. Though, at heart, the novel is satirical, there are some questions raised that are worth contemplation.
