The advent of the Post Modern Era saw the death of theater followed by the death of literature as pulp and virtual reality saturated the mindscape of being there. So the domain of art died. Literary theorists from Hegel, Husserl, Heideggar, Derrida, Levi-Strauss, etc documented this death; yet, a few milestones pointed toward a revival of literature. It was the rise of pulp that caused the death of literature. Dean C. Gardner replaces the tradition of prose, adopting the form of poetic narrative. Gardner sought the next generation of literature upon the grounds of Haiku founders including Basho, Bucson and Issa, phenomenology and the few survivors of literature spearheaded by Wallace Stevens.
