The Surviving Family The story is about life after nuclear warfare. A family hides out along with several other families inside a bomb shelter. Three years later they come out and the radiation lowered down to a minimum, but In some places the radiation is still very high. The government still wanted control over the people. There were some rebels. But, if you were a rebel you would be shot on sight. One family had a boy who had gotten his arm stuck on the door and they had to cut it off with a pair of scissors because if they opened it then the whole family could have died. More Than a Game The author's full name is Tyrese Shakur Amaru Wilkinson. He was born in Barbados at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on March 25, 2002, at 3:15pm. When Tyrese was six, he came to the United States of America. Tyrese's favorite things to do are draw and play basketball. In his free time, he likes to hang with his friends, dance, and sing a little bit. Tyrese's favorite subject is math.
