For Anne Randall to marry handsome Toddhunter Clifford III. But before she took her vows as a wife, Anne went vacationing in a remote, unsettled mountain country. There dedicated, young Dr. Vic Macy worked among the poverty-stricken hill folk.

When Dr. Vic learned that Ann was a nurse, he asked her to help him. By his side, Ann grew proud that she shared in his hard, demanding profession.

But, back home, with her wedding day approaching, Ann tried to forget Vic and the beautiful, savage hills.
