It has been five months since the battle with Gyllu at Hemlar. No beasts have been seen since that eventful day. There is a great banquet following the coronation of Orran as King of Barcal. He has completed the refurbishment of SpiritHeart, his ancestral home, and he and the queen are going to make it the castle of the realm. They start their journey tomorrow. The survey team from POD are also going to start a journey in the morning. They will start a general survey of all populated areas, and try to find out if Gyllu was the cause of all the wanton death and destruction over the passed five hundred years. They will be joined by Jesta and Klempt. They are going to find the genetic materials bank of the plant and animal species of Armont has been destroyed. On their journey they meet the Sicourian, a group of highly organized soldiers who pursue them to the site where the genetics are stored in a city Nautil which was built under The Great Ocean. While attempting to restore one specimen a mutant is created and Daug is born. This creator is the strongest, most violent creature they have encountered on Armont and it mean to kill them. The Sicourians soldier, are now fighting alongside the new Nautilians allies make study ground fighting Daug. Just as the tide of the battle is turning, a roar fills the great chamber and everything stops as the beast walks through the great door. "Gyllu," Lou shouts at the beast, "we meet again." "I am not Gyllu. Gyllu had imperfection, and The One has created me from the genetic material you provided Him." The creature snarls and laughs out, "Thank You - I now rule Armont. Praise be to The One, Creator and Sustainer of His creations." And the battle for the planet begins.
