Sixty light years from Earth at the edge of known space sits Anansi Station, a research facility devoted to expanding man's knowledge of the universe. For Harold Gruder, assignment to this remote outpost is a chance to start life anew, free from the failures of his past. But on his first day on the job a bio-hazard alarm warns of a gruesome infection sweeping the base, turning his coworkers into killers. And that's just the beginning.
