Agar was born in Thebes during the reign of Thutmose III. She grew up among the luxuries of the court and the imprisonment of a grieving harem, a role imposed by tradition. Her childhood was intertwined with the story of an extraordinary country. Stubborn and rebellious, she reached the age of maturity, an event that coincided with her arranged marriage with Abraham from Ur of the Chaldeans. The life that awaits her was very different from the conduct at Thebes. Her long journey to Mamre was lined with hopes and disappointments. At the end, she discovered the true meaning of her life. Maria Pace lives in Turin, where she is a Researcher of Ancient Ethnic Groups. She has been fascinated by ancient cultures since childhood and this passion has continued all her life. Her literary output, aimed primarily at children and young people, has progressively addressed a broader type of player, that is, a lover of historical literary genre, historical and environmental fantasy. Maria Pace has also written several blogs about cultural sites.
