After Owen — Helen Gray

When the past comes back to haunt us... literally! "Before Owen, my hours were filled with music, sex and food." So says Alice, who lives a self-indulgent life with her lover, Liam, in Shakespeare's old town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Then without warning a boy turns up on their doorstep and announces that he is Liam's son, Owen. Alice struggles with this intrusion into their life and home, finding Owen a difficult and creepy child. Soon terrible long-forgotten memories of her own childhood start to stir.
