Melanie George graduated College and Night Nursing School at the same time. She also acquired a position at one of the biggest hospitals in Houston. Knowing this she found an apartment close enough so she could walk if she had to. Everything seemed to be going her way, even though she'd just broken up with her boyfriend. Until she started getting that raised hair on the back of her neck every time she left her apartment. Turned out, someone was stalking her. But who, and why? Not knowing who she could trust she was suspicious of everyone. That's when Dexter Cooper befriended her. He lived down the hall from her and offered her rides to work when she couldn't get her car started. Still, someone was out there and things just kept getting worse.
