Act of Silence — Anthony Graham

A month before, Vera had found The Dummy suffering from amnesia and loss of voice, and had mothered him ever since. She wanted private detective Frank Richmond to find out who he was and who was trying to kill him. The Dummy had been recognised at a night club, and the day after Frank went there to ask questions, the hat-check girl was found murdered. Coincidence? Frank didn't think so.
