The final book in the three part series; A Family Relationship is Josh's settling into a family, his love of Damon or better known locally as Dazza. Josh had never seen himself as a family man and prior to meeting up with Dazza, had always been scared of having children. Their lives together took Josh from a typical glitter boy, to a rough and ready relationship as a fencer, joining Dazza in the family business, its growth from a family business to a multi million dollar company, and back to a two man team. Families always have problems and this one was no exception. Mason had always shown tendancies towards the loving of men, but Brian was masculine and a bit of a tearaway; a fighter, and in a way, a bit of a bully, a thug. It was his short temper and inability to think that ended with his spending several periods in detention and altermately his life. The love of Dazza and Josh was eternal and even when their lives were threatened by a serious car accident, it could not be broken. They were two typical gay men, their love eternal, their love for their boys unwavering. Families grow, their children grow and find partners in life and this family was no exception but life always suprises you. This story is a love story, a gay romance, yet covers many of the trials and tribulations that all gay men and children go through before their lives settle into its own routine; until we all find out what life has in store for us. There is no typical life for gay men; no typical steriotype a gay man has to be. We are as diverse as all others, yet we all go through the period where we have to search out who we really are. This series goes through many of those trials and tribulations, who are we really, what are we, where does my life go from this moment in time? This book and the entire series deals with homosexuality, its loves, its sex, its restraints. It deals with the many fetishes, and how we deal as gay men to those fetishes and desires. It deals with the realisation that homeosexuality is not a disease but we are born into a life we have no control over. How does a child deal with the realisation that he or she is different. How does a child emerging from childhood to become a teenager with feelings he or she is unable to understand yet has to control? How do parents of these children handle the stages these children go though? Do you allow the child its own desires at such an early age or do you try and steer that child to normality; what is normality anyway? This book does not try to answer those questions but is the thoughts of the writer; his thoughts on how he would deal with the same situation and not what others believe or should do. Remember, this is a fictional story, but many facets of this story are wrtten to try and answer the authors own questions and his own methods of dealing with his own questions on life.
