A girl whose life was drudgery was suddenly whisked away on a Mediterranean cruise, who else should she meet but Prince Charming but can the two worlds mesh.

Suburban, hard-working Janie Brown suddenly found herself launched on a Mediterranean cruise with an entire new wardrobe of clothes, so it was natural that she should dream of meeting her Prince Charming to complete her fairy tale. When she met a handsome bullfighter at the peak of his profession she thought she found him. Could she and such a man, from different worlds, ever hope to find happiness?

A gloriously romantic Mediterranean cruise, and a new wardrobe! It seemed like a dream come true to Janie. And so was her dream of Prince Charming. Paul Cortes, the handsome, famous Spanish bullfighter, seemed to be falling in love with her.

But David McNab insisted that the dream was impossible. "Like calls to like, Janie," he said. "And you're not like himâ€"you're like me!"
