A Change of Heart — Sicily Yoder

Step inside a bustling Amish bakery and sample the fluffy, sweet Whoopie pie confections made by the Miller family. Red sugar gum leaves twirl through the cool, moist air, and the beginning of an early start to a frosty winter pushes its way into quaint Lancaster County. But like any town, the Amish are enduring hardships: ten year-old Emma Miller has been missing, and there are three suspects. But the suspects are headed to New York City without a child in tow.
Where is Emma, and why can't the justice system move fast enough to find her? Her older sister, Esther Miller, wants to take matters into her own hands and follow the men up to New York City. She secretly pretends to have a crush on handsome former Amish man, Jacob Smith, so that she can ride with him to New York City.
Getting rumor of her plan, Jacob contacts the bishop. Although he isn't Amish anymore, he feels like he must protect this careless, but beautiful Amish girl.
