A Broken Man Came Back
Pearl Harbor was still a raw wound on the American psyche. Japanese citizens were being rounded up and processed into internment camps in the Mid-West, yet some remained free and among those were members of the gangs and Toikeikai: Japanese Naval Intelligence. Paul Jarvis sat at his desk wondering how many more times he would be sent out to hunt these people down and their confederates. He did not mind too much though, in fact, he felt a strong sense of purpose since many of these so called confederates were local criminals and Americans. But what irked him most were the continued connections within Mexico. His investigations would begin in San Diego but then once more across the border as he pursued the Japs and criminals working with them and finally, back to the States for one more lethal shootout.
