Holding my breath, I spread the bushes apart. It was then that I saw a hole in the rock wall. It was big enough for my head to fit through it. It was a tiny cave! I looked around. At first I couldn't see much. There was just a little light coming through a crack in the wall. It was really creepy. A small shaft of sun was shining on an outcropping of rock.

I was looking directly into two pairs of glittering eyes.
