Series Premise

When the mysterious Senna Wales is pulled into Everworld, four other teenagers follow and become trapped in a struggle involving gods, monsters, warriors, and rival civilizations drawn from multiple mythologies. Their search for Senna develops into a wider conflict over gateways between worlds and the survival of Everworld’s gods against Ka Anor and the Hetwan.

Main Characters

David Levin assumes much of the group’s leadership and is initially connected to Senna romantically. Christopher Hitchcock uses humor and cynicism defensively, April O’Brien is Senna’s half-sister and often approaches events through her religious convictions, and Jalil Sherman tries to explain Everworld through reason and science. Senna Wales is a witch whose powers and competing ambitions connect the teenagers to the larger struggle over passage between worlds.

Setting

Everworld is a parallel realm where figures and societies from Norse, Greek, Roman, Aztec, Celtic, Egyptian, and other traditions exist beside alien species and imported technology. The teenagers remain linked to their ordinary modern lives, but survival in Everworld requires them to navigate unfamiliar laws, warring gods, shifting territories, and cultures that would never have met in conventional mythology.

Tone & Themes

The books combine fast-moving fantasy adventure with a darker examination of fear, prejudice, faith, reason, manipulation, and personal responsibility.
