Friya did not sleep in the winter like other turtles. Everything has its season. But Friya spent this winter, well, becoming an artist. She drew winter, clouds, and snow. The sun shone as she opened winter's cloud blinds, sending silvery-gold threads upon the calm silky water. The four winds weaved winter into spring. Friya's love of art and the world around her colors her interpretation of her place among the seasons of life.
