Masquerade by the Sea — Traci Hall

After personal tragedy, Captain Jolie Gordon takes charge of the Masquerade, a fishing boat turned pleasure-cruiser. She has only the summer to make enough money to buy an engine and can't afford any distractions -- like her new bartender, Heath Hamilton. An angry ex-ski instructor, Heath has lost his future hopes, due to an accident on the slopes. Jolie recognizes Heath as a kindred spirit, forced to rebuild after circumstances out of his control. They spend the steamy South Florida summer daring to love again, but for how long?
