A tough as nails crew of space marines, experts in battling heretic cults and interdicting hostile vessels, are sent on a mission to recover an ancient derelict starship, the Tesseract, that has appeared in the Carcosa sector at the remote edge of the system. What they've found on board could spell not just their own doom, but the end of humanity.
