Hadarah's Story — S.E. Thomas

Hadarah, as a young Jewish girl, cannot understand her father's insistence that she learn the Scriptures. But, when the Assyrians invade her city, murder her family, and make her a concubine to an evil man, she is faced with a choice. Will she forsake her faith as, she believes, her God has forsaken her? Or, will God find a way to preserve a remnant of faith even among such a wicked people?
