There comes a time when societies fall away from the very principles of freedom and equality, and the moral fibers begin to tear asunder. When this happens, free will tends to dwindle into obscurity and oppression, immorality, immodesty, and unnaturalness takes away what makes us human. Throughout the ages, there has always been governmental systems that have failed because the very universal laws that govern life are seemingly tossed aside. In the societies ruled by those systems, amongst the oppressed, there always arises those who want freedom and equality for all, thus they strive to achieve what is necessary to do so.
