January 6, 2021 was a day of infamy for most. An assault on democracy. A national crisis.  For Bobby Lathrop, it was just a Wednesday. Insurrection Day is a satirical short story about a well-intentioned computer repairman who sneaks on a church bus to Washington DC to meet a woman from a Christian dating app. When he arrives at the US Capitol building, he finds that he's in for much more than he bargained for.
