Tarnished Badges — Ron Sharrow

Four policemen have been brutally tortured to death. At the time of their murders, each of them were under investigation by Internal Affairs for complaints of their use of excessive force and brutality. One of the victims hires Bruce to sue the Police department for the injuries he sustained at the hands of one of the brutal cops. A profile of the killer leads to the arrest of an unlikely suspect who retains Bruce West to defend him against the murder charges. Bruce finds himself representing a victim of police brutality while at the same time, defending the person who is accused of the policeman's murder.
