Jake Bonner returns! After the events of EXPERT ASSISTANCE, Jake is comfortable at last. He's also bored, as is Odin, the computer that controls his ship. Their boredom comes to a quick end when they stumble across a damaged starship, a woman hiding out from those who attacked the ship, and her mysterious red box. What is she hiding in the box? Who's the fellow with a French accent who wants to hire Jake for a diplomatic jaunt? What does food have to do with any of this?
