Private Detective Bob Roosevelt is once again searching for the love of his life and trying to find a place with no crime. Following a gut feeling he heads for Minnesota in the middle of December. His guardian angel informs Roosevelt, in not so nice words, most intelligent people go to Florida or Mexico in the winter and ice and snow will bring him nothing but grief and another broken heart. Ignoring good advice Roosevelt finds himself in the winter wonderland of Saint Ansgar, Minnesota. But, even before he can build a snowman, he stumbles smack dab into murder, a gambling ring, a coven of not so nice witches, a priest who likes good whiskey, a lady who has lost her heart, a little boy that desperately needs a friend, women that would rather see him dead than a love interest, and two gangsters that wish they were still in Kansas City shaking down Mom and Pop stores for protection money. A funny out of control snowmobile ride through murder and lost love with a cast of characters you will love but who your mother warned you about.
