In 1968, Suzanne Wellington heads for New Mexico to photograph and write about commune life for a large magazine. As fate would have it, her bus breaks down in New Mexico. Oliver Bachand happens along to assist her. Neither one can imagine how their chance meeting will forever change their lives.
