She is transported to an abbey in medieval Britain. Here she has to battle her fears and an evil wizard to free a young boy, who also happens to be a ghost, from the wizard's evil clutches, and before the wizard catches her.In the story Sucked through a Wormhole, two boys have won a trip in an aircraft that is supposed to take them on a short flight above and around their home town. Instead they are sucked through a wormhole to another planet. There they have to endure many trials to survive while they search for help, help to send them both back home.
