Description
In Etched in Stone you follow Michael Zorka as he travels to Italy where he studies the great Renaissance sculptors: Michelangelo, Donatello, and Rodin. Mike is a self-taught sculptor and chooses to follow his own bliss. While spending months in Florence, Italy he falls in love with Mona Lisa Bartalucci. When his money runs out he is forced to return to the CarmelValley near Carmel by the Sea, California in order to sculpt and save money. He plans to return to Florence and marry Mona Lisa. A chance meeting with Krista Coleman leads his attention away from Italy and he soon chooses a life with Krista but fate intervenes. A call from Mona Lisa sends him back to Italy where they renew their romance. However a joyful life in Florence eludes the happy couple and Mike regretfully returns to Carmel where the life he once knew escapes him.
