Denny has abandoned the world to live in isolation. For ten years with his chef, nurses and security, he has kept the world, well outside his reach. Yet he invites an artist into his house and falls in love at the same time. Both Art and Love soon lose interest in Denny, they prefer each other's company. In fact they fall in love. Then they turn on Denny and his world. Despite their confidence and self belief, it doesn't end too well for either of them. The ensuing court case lands Denny in gaol. This is the crime. Running concurrently and on a different time-line is the secondary story of Denny's imprisonment. His punishment. Denny's warehouse hideout is saved by his daughter Allie. She turns the place into a night club. As his sentence ticks away the club expands, his daughter consumes his assets and the club evolves into a successful Art destination, the artwork of the original artist becomes the main attraction. The conclusion of the manuscript presents his original crime and Denny's release back into this new world controlled by his daughter.
