Fictio(Nation) 17 Urbantales — Multiple Authors

Fictio[Nation] is a collective project published by the students of the Fiction Writing Workshop offered during Fall 2009 at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. These are the best stories from this group of seventeen emerging writers who take on their art as a performance, a voice or a persona, from both linguistic and structural standpoints. For many of these young artists, this is the closest they have ever been to the writing experience. Gleaming with creativity, these are stories meant to be cherished. Indeed, Fictio[Nation] is as provocative as it is pleasurable to read.
