Julie Evans is a woman in search of a sequel. 

After escaping from The Firm and pulling a Runaway Bride, she expected to find--if not herself--at least adventure. So far though, all she's found is the bottom of a macaroon box and her uncle Leo's old 1980s action movie trilogy: Try Hard, Try Harder and Again with the Trying.

All that changes when the handsome star of Pulpier Fiction and The French Canadian Connection, Ian Hunter, helps save her uncle from a couple of back-alley thugs. But it wasn't just a garden-variety mugging and Ian Hunter wasn't there by chance. The truth behind a twenty-year old murder is about to be exposed and the thugs aren't the only ones who think Leo is the key. Ian believes Leo has proof that will exonerate his grandfather for a murder he didn't commit -- film of the crime itself. But all Leo has are some embarrassing home movies and a little sciatica.
