The Long White Scarf — Maxine Trottier

Shortlisted for the 2006 Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Award Long before she becomes Queen of England, Princess Victoria rides out in an open coach with her mother. Around her neck the child proudly wears her new silk scarf--long, white, and embroidered with her initial. But the scarf will not belong to the young princess for long.
