Joey Gallagher is on top of the world. When his team's pitcher is injured, he steps onto the mound and helps them win a crucial game. But his good mood ends abruptly when his mother announces that the exchange student they've been waiting for is due to arrive in a week. Joey is less than thrilled with the prospect of getting to know the newcomer.
