When Laura Well's father is unable to accompany her on a much-anticipated cruise, Graham Kirkland, an acqaintance, agrees to chaperon Laura and her bubbly friend Kathi.

Although Laura has trusted noone since her mother's death, as Kathi and Graham begin to date, Laura also pairs off to make a foursome. But Laura cannot deny her love for Graham, or her awkward feelings when she learns he is a Christian.
