This is a fictional tale of a discovery made at RPI of a product called Hopping Powder. People were able to use this material for hopping from place to place. It became a mode of transportation that replaced other forms and eliminated the need to gasoline. Ordinary sand was used as the fuel to be used. But, there were problems.
