The Lost Zebra — Lynne Pickering

Sammy was a small young strong willed Zebra. He was always in trouble going on adventures on his own and nearly got eaten a couple of times except for an owl he made friends with who saved his life on more that one occasion. It did not matter how many times his mother told him to stay with the herd his wandering spirit won in the end much to the dismay of the herd. A delightful story.
