Description
Andrius of Gratis was born an ordinary man, and instructed in the ways of the Atlantean Priesthood. Through a twist of fate, he discovered a long forgotten chant for healing the body as a whole, to return the years taken from modern man by the gods. He lived for nearly two thousand years, long after his life should have ended; as an old man, he chanted the spell again, rejuvenating his body to that of a young man. The spell worked time after time; it was as if he was immortal.
The Priest, as he became known when such men became rare sights after the end of the 3rd Age of Atlantis, met Nadira, a Krylonean woman. They battled the Titans and their Dark Dragon, eliminating them as a menace to Terra and her people before settling down to raise a family. Two boys, Adama and Emory, and a daughter, Falon blessed their lives, but after raising them for thirty years, the children set out on their own. Andrius and Nadira felt that it was time to solve a mystery that he recalled witnessing many hundreds of years earlier while wandering the jungles of Amazonia.
The Furlin, a feline species, inhabited Terra's sister planet in the dimension adjoining our own Two Furlin, Celka and Finn, were both astronomers, interesting in explaining why they couldn't account for all the mass that the known universe should've had. They stumbled upon the missing mass as alternate dimensions, discovering how to construct a portal to them. They chose a site on Terra from which to study Terra's human species, but then tragedy struck their homeworld of Furlina, an insectoid species called the Grut arrived. Their plans for the Furlin didn't include friendship. The battle for survival moved to Terra, bit it was won when the strangest of allies stepped forward, earning them a place to live in peace, and a little-known place in Terra's history.
Falon joined the crew of the Edenan starship Khonsu, assigned to return to the Edenan's original home world of Marzak in the dwarf galaxy of Canis Major, only 25,000 light-years away. After raising a second family, the Priest and Nadira learned that the starship was assumed missing. That wasn't good enough for Andrius and his wife; they needed to know Falon's fate. They located her on the Khonsu, orbiting the ‘Shimmering Planet' in the Andromeda galaxy after being captured by the drone vintas. They never expected to return to their own home world, but neither did they expect the intervention that made everything possible.
While Andrius and Nadira raised a third family, the Priest was called to save Athens and their prince, Theseus, from the Minoan Minotaur. Of all the evils that he'd battled, the Minotaur was the strangest; people were not living good lives, needing to be ‘redirected'. Barely had his life settled down when he set out on another quest after learning that a great turmoil was ongoing in the land of the Israelites. Apparently, the son of a carpenter, Jesus of Nazareth, claimed to be the King of the Jews. The couple decided to observe to the events that history would surely deem noteworthy. They set up a home, blending into the Egyptian culture to avoid the Roman troops, but Nadira would not be so lucky while Andrius was following the Christ and his apostles around the countryside. The events that followed may not have been recorded, along with their interaction in Jesus' life, but it still happened, perhaps of as great a significance to Terra's humans as the death of Christ.
