Present time is late 1998 and things are starting to stir at Le Grande.
Something Wicked begins as the heiress of Le Grande travels home for her first visit in many years. She was kept away for her own safety. She will soon be 25 years old and she will inherit all of the family fortune, which is massive. It started with her Grandfather Ivan, who traveled from Ireland to the forests of Oregon in the 1930's. He loved the land and began what is today Le Grande. His son Jonathan married the love of his life, Maggie and the family began.
