The body of an infant found near the base of the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, triggers the involvement of tennis pro, Palmer Morel, into a bizarre plot by a psycho killer to stop the plan for light rail in the city. While haunted by the love of his wheelchair-bound lover, Corky Kennedy, Morel receives the key to the baby?s death from an unlikely source. What should he do?
