Maiden Voyage — Lance Erlick

Security Chief Nina Rekovic reluctantly followed her lover to join the crew of the all-female Maiden's Ark, which left Earth five years earlier. Her job is to maintain the peace threatened by Returners who feel deceived and grumble against the autocratic captain who financed the voyage.
 
A distress signal says Earth is lost, stranding lunar and asteroid colonists. Someone sabotages the Ark's vital fertility lab, which is blamed on the Returners. Then Rekovic gets cryptic messages that could be help or part of a trap. While treading a fine line between the Returners she sympathizes with, the dictatorial captain who doesn't trust her, and her estranged lover who betrays her, can Rekovic solve the conspiracy before she's imprisoned or worse?
