The Phoenician Falcon — K.T. Tomb

Once a tool of treachery between two Scandinavian brothers, an ancient Viking relic now has the attention of an international smuggling ring-and Chyna and her Found History archaeological team need to figure out exactly what it is and where it came from before they are caught in a web of espionage. When Chyna and the team arrive in Syria, they have no way of knowing that a straightforward assignment to catalog and exhibit Phoenician artifacts fresh out of the ground near Hamah, would turn into a deadly spy game. But one piece among the relics puzzles Chyna: a magnificent golden falcon with its wings spread wide and its legs ready for flight looks to her like something she would find in Scandinavia, not the Middle East. Caught between the stirrings of civil unrest and an attempted terrorist attack, it doesn't take long for her to realize that there is much more to the mysterious statue than meets the eye.
