Local investigative reporter Audrey O'Connell already has her hands full with Maid of Honor duties for her sister's golf-themed wedding at the Chattertowne Country Club. Not to mention, the gossip mill is abuzz with news about Chattertowne's own celebrity influencer, Onyx Carpenter, who is rumored to be bringing her rockstar husband, Meacham Fields, to the nuptials as her plus one. But when Onyx's former high school flame, Wiley Barrett, is accused of killing one of his golf students in a cover-up the day after her heralded homecoming, she insists he's innocent and begs Audrey to help exonerate him...much to her husband's dismay.
