Description
Hospital life has its problems, especially for a young and attractive nurse.
Attractive, red-headed Carol Brampton resumes her nursing career at her old hospital, St. Augustine's at Boxhampton, when her husband and small daughter are killed in a car accident.
In the busy, familiar hospital atmosphere, Carol slowly regains her peace of mind, considerably helped by the sympathetic and stimulating presence of Dr. Patrick Farrell.
But her serenity is rudely shattered when, at a hospital dance, her sister-in-law Berna makes insinuations about her to Patrick. To proud to explain, bitterly hurt, Carol once more retreats into her work. And it is through her selfless care of others that she finally wins through to happiness.
