Staff nurse Jenny Carter had previously nursed Dr Tomas Lawrence through a serious illness. It was sheer coincidence when she discovered he was travelling on the same small plane across Spain. But she was enormously glad of his presence when the plane got into difficulties!

It was impulse that made her invite him to her parents' villa, but she had forgotten the pain would cause Tomas to see her twins, when his illness meant he could probably no longer father children of his own.
