It tells how a series of adventures - flying into battle on a dragon to defeat an army of orcs and giants; rescuing her younger sister from an ogre; escaping from kidnapping orcs; and protecting Trevor from the queen - lead a surly teenage girl to become a better person by facing up to her responsibilities. The book is aimed at readers 11 and upwards.
