This is the fourth installment in the award-winning generational series that began with The Moon and Beyond, the saga of a group of 21st-century pioneers who built their own independent nation on Earth's Moon. This book is the story of two women, one the granddaughter of one of the original founders of the Lunar Free State, the other the daughter of more recent immigrants to the LFS.

Followers of the series will recognize some of the earlier characters; but this is a new story of a new generation, the beginning of a new era as the ""Moonies"" push deeper into interstellar space.
